The Amber Ribbon are now taking subscriptions for the 2024 season! The Amber Ribbon membership costs just £5 for the whole season or you can become a Gold Member which costs £5 per month and is payable by standing order. GABRIEL GOES ON LOAN
We can confirm that Andy Gabriel has joined Oldham RLFC on loan until the end of the season. The 29-year-old winger who has played for the Rams since 2019 joins the Roughyeds on a short-term loan until the end of the 2023 season. Gabriel made a try-scoring return to action last month against Rochdale Hornets after recovering from a serious injury which he sustained in a match against Widnes in July 2022. Rams battle hard to earn late victory against Midlands Hurricanes at Alexander Stadium. With only five games left of the regular season the Rams headed to the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham looking to secure another victory against eighth-placed Midlands Hurricanes. Despite what the league table may have suggested this was a bruising, battling encounter between the two sides from the get go and it was the home side who scored first through Todd Horner after the Rams spilt the ball close to their own line. Rams claim vital victory over promotion rivals Oldham RLFC at FLAIR Stadium. After a fantastic victory last Friday against Rochdale Hornets, the Rams welcomed another team from across the Pennines in the form of Oldham RLFC, who so far had been the only team to have taken a point from the Rams this season after a thrilling draw in May at a packed out Vestacare Stadium.
