Departing Head Coach Liam Finn’s message to the Rams supporters. After Liam Finn was confirmed as the new Halifax Panthers Head Coach for 2024, he had the following message for the Dewsbury Rams supporters: I will be really sad to leave Dewsbury, especially after the year that we’ve all enjoyed. The Halifax job is too good of an opportunity that I can turn down as a young ambitious coach and I think that people understand that. FINN TO DEPART RAMS
We can today confirm that Head Coach Liam Finn will be leaving the club to take up an opportunity elsewhere. Former Ireland international Finn joined the club as Head Coach in June 2022 from Halifax Panthers following Lee Greenwood’s departure. Although he couldn’t prevent relegation in 2022, this year he has successfully guided the club back to the Betfred Championship at the first attempt, winning the Betfred League One title with a game to spare. PRESENTATION NIGHT DETAILS
Our Annual Presentation Night will take place on Sunday 27th August at FLAIR Stadium. This year’s end of season awards night will take place in the Royal Suite after our final game of the season away at Doncaster RLFC, starting at 19:30. For those heading to Doncaster on the Amber Ribbon Supporters’ Coach this will now be stopping at FLAIR Stadium on the return journey. Entry to the event is free and we hope to see as many of you down there as possible to celebrate what has been a fantastic season for the lads!

RAMS ARE CHAMPIONS
Rams crowned Betfred League One Champions after victory over Workington at FLAIR Stadium. After last week’s narrow defeat at South Leeds Stadium, the Rams aimed to bounce back on home soil and secure the victory that they needed to become champions against Workington Town. Unlike the poor start they made against Hunslet, the Rams started with purpose driving up the field in the first set of the game, which resulted in Paul Sykes kicking an early penalty goal after a dangerous tackle by Stevie Scholey, for which he was also shown a yellow card. Parking There is ample parking at FLAIR Stadium priced at £4. Supporters are kindly asked not to park on the Amberwood Chase estate as the club have received several complaints from residents on this issue. Gates Open Turnstiles will be open at 13:30.
