Greenwood impressed with home display
Dewsbury Rams head coach Lee Greenwood was impressed with his teams display on Saturday afternoon at the Tetley’s Stadium where Dewsbury defeated Featherstone 20-14 to reach the semi-final of the Yorkshire Cup. The Rams put in a solid and at times stylish performance to get the win over Featherstone on Saturday. Tickets on sale for Yorkshire Cup semi-final
Dewsbury Rams will have tickets on sale for our Yorkshire Cup game next Saturday. The game is due to take place on Saturday 12th January, 5.30pm KO, with the Rams playing for a place in the final. Supporters can purchase tickets for the game from the Tetley’s Stadium reception on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am-5pm. If you buy before Friday 5pm you will get them at the discounted price where £2 will be knocked off of the price. Prices are as follows Adults £13 Concessions £8 Under 16’s Free
Rams draw Bradford in semi-final.
Dewsbury Rams have drawn Bradford Bulls in the semi-final of the Yorkshire Cup. The Rams were victorious against Featherstone Rovers in the first round winning 20-14. Now they have been drawn against the Bulls to play for a place in the final. The game against Bradford will be played on Saturday 12th January, and it will be staged at Bradford’s Odsal Stadium with a kick off time of 5.30pm. Tickets for the game are at the same price as in the first round.
Mackay secures deal at Rams
Dewsbury Rams can announce that they have signed loose forward Liam Mackay for the 2019 season. Previously at Hunslet, Mackay at 28 years old has a wealth of experience to bring to the side. He helped Hunslet secure promotion back in 2014, and although he was at the club a long time he now feels this is the right time to move on. Wrestle room ready to rumble
Dewsbury Rams are delighted to announce that they now have the fantastic facility of a new wrestle room to use. The Rams volunteers have worked extremely hard to get the room ready in time for the 2019 season. The room will provide the Rams with the ability to work on strength and conditioning even more than before with the added facility putting another string to add to Lee Greenwood’s team bow.
