Rams host 3rd Round Challenge Cup tie
Dewsbury Rams will play host to the 3rd round Challenge Cup tie between Thornhill Trojans and Doncaster. The Trojans have done spectacularly well to get to this stage of the competition. The tie will take place on Saturday 8th February with a 2pm kick off. Only the North Stand- (seated) will be open for the fixture. Only turnstile 3 and 4 will be open. Dewsbury Rams were defeated in their first Betfred Championship fixture of 2020 as they lost 36-10 to the Leigh Centurions. The Rams started the game well and put Leigh under early pressure, and it was the home side who collected the first two points as Paul Sykes kicked over a penalty. It took until the 19th minute for Leigh to score their first points of the evening as Josh Woods managed to slide across the line. Bucket collection for Mose Masoe
Dewsbury Rams can confirm that there will be a bucket collection for Hull KR player Mose Masoe. Mose unfortunately suffered a serious spinal injury in a pre-season friendly against Wakefield and had to be rushed to hospital for an emergency operation. The extent of the injury was so serious that he has had to retire from the game. Everyone at Dewsbury Rams wishes Mose the best of luck in his recovery.

CORAL CHALLENGE CUP THIRD ROUND Outstanding victories against Thatto Heath Crusaders & Normanton Knights now see Thornhill Trojans continue the Wembley trail with a tie against Betfred League One opposition.
