Dewsbury Rams were victorious in their second Betfred Championship fixture of the 2020 season when they won away at Halifax on a cold Yorkshire Tuesday night. The Rams were determined to back up their impressive performance on the opening weekend against Leigh Centurions. Lee Greenwood’s men looked focused and ready to play during the warm ups. Dewsbury Rams supporters the Amber Ribbon are providing travel up to Cumbria as the club prepares to take on Whitehaven in it’s first Challange Cup game of the season. The details for the coach up to Whitehaven and how you can book are as follows. Whitehaven away – Sunday 23rd February 3pm Kick Off Pick up times are. RESULT; Halifax 16-18 Dewsbury
Dewsbury Rams came away with a victory on a cold night at the Shay Stadium in the rescheduled fixture. The Rams left it close but managed to get a superb win over the line, Gabriel and Gee were the two players to score tries on the night for Dewsbury, and Sykes converted five kicks including three penalties. Dewsbury Rams head coach Lee Greenwood has given his thoughts following the Rams victory over Halifax on Tuesday night. On the win he said: “Obviously we are very happy to get the win here. We were underdogs for a lot of people coming here and we’ve proved them wrong. “We have spoken a lot about the change in attitude around the squad, and the only way to show that publicly is on the pitch.
