BETFRED CHAMPIONSHIP AND LEAGUE ONE RESTRUCTURE
Ahead of the start of the Betfred Championship season in Sheffield and Wakefield this Friday night, the Championship and League One clubs have had confirmation of a managed transition of the competition structure below Super League over the next two seasons, to produce two divisions of 12 clubs from 2026. MARCH JOINS AS ASSISTANT COACH
We are delighted to welcome Paul March to the club as our new Assistant Coach for 2024. The forty-four-year-old joins the coaching team at FLAIR Stadium alongside Head Coach Dale Ferguson and Assistant Coach Conor Turner. March has a wealth of experience in rugby league playing over four hundred first-class games during a nineteen-year career which included spells at Super League sides Huddersfield Giants and Wakefield Trinity. In 2008, he took up his first coaching position as Player-Coach at York Knights before moving to Hunslet and then Keighley Cougars where he won promotion in 2010 and the iPro Sport Cup […]

LAWRENCE DEPARTS RAMS
We can today confirm that Nathan Lawrence has left the club for personal reasons. The twenty-eight-year old who originally joined the club on trial from Ossett RUFC, impressed enough to earn in contract in November but has now decided to leave the club. On behalf of everybody at the club we would like to thank Nathan for his efforts during his time here and wish him all the best for the future.

After guiding the Rams to the League One title in 2023, Liam Finn made his return to FLAIR Stadium with his Halifax Panthers side for both sides’ first game of the Betfred Championship season.
