Dewsbury Rams were defeated 13-16 in what was an ill-tempered affair at the Tetley’s Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Rams lead for the majority of the match, but a hectic last ten minutes saw the Eagles snatch victory from defeat. Greenwood expects tough test against Eagles
Dewsbury Rams head coach Lee Greenwood insists his side will do all it can to win over the tough test awaiting them in the form of the Sheffield Eagles. Head coach Lee Greenwood is looking forward to the club’s fourth round cup tie against West Hull. Greenwood is expecting a tough fixture against the amateur side and insists we can’t take them lightly. Rochdale away fixture re-arranged
Dewsbury Rams can confirm that the away game against Rochdale Hornets will now take played on July 28th. This is subject to both teams being available to play the fixture, as that is the same weekend as the Challenge Cup semi-finals and the 1895 cup semi-finals. The original fixture was postponed due to adverse weather conditions and so the game has now being re-scheduled for later on in the season.
Annakin on not being far away
Dewsbury Rams on loan player Chris Annakin was very positive following the defeat against Sheffield Eagles at the weekend, believing the Rams are not far away from being a good side.
