Dewsbury Rams hooker Robbie Ward insists the team is full of confidence ahead of Sunday’s clash with table-toppers Toulouse, despite a momentum-breaking postponement last weekend. The Rams headed into the match against Barrow searching for a third consecutive win, but snowy conditions meant the game was unplayable, while Toulouse recorded a comprehensive victory over Rochdale. Kelly’s men full of confidence ahead of Barrow trip
Rams head coach Neil Kelly says his players should feel “full of confidence” ahead of Sunday’s trip to Barrow. But he he has warned his squad that anything less than a tough physical and mental effort will see them come up short. Rams prop Matty English can’t wait to go to Barrow on Sunday, saying the worse the conditions the better, as the 20 year old loves the rough and tumble of Cumbria’s harsh weather. English, who has only recently joined the Rams, has so far settled into the club well, and has played a major part in Dewsbury’s good start to the season. Rams to welcome special guests from Shaw Cross
Dewsbury Rams will welcome special guests from local community club, Shaw Cross Sharks, at this Sunday’s game against Toulouse Olympique, The Sharks recently sadly lost one of the club’s closest friends, Damian Tejero, following a battle with cancer, and a group of his closest friends are currently in town visiting the club. Tejero visited Shaw Cross Sharks as a coach on several occasions, while also helping to set up the now well-established French Exchange scheme. He also brought a team of French girls to play at Shaw Cross. He was often seen at the club with friends, who are former exchange players […]
