We will be hosting a Fans Forum on Friday 24th November in the Royal Suite at FLAIR Stadium starting at 19:00. This will be your chance to put your questions to both Chairman Mark Sawyer and Head Coach Dale Ferguson. The Fans Forum will be free to attend and no tickets will be required, the bar will be open for refreshments. If you are unable to attend the Fans Forum but still wish to send your question in, you can e-mail any questions to office@dewsburyrams.uk.
DAWSON SIGNS FOR 2024
We are delighted to announce that Bailey Dawson has signed for the Rams for 2024! The twenty-year-old front rower, who was most recently at Castleford Tigers, made nine appearances for Midlands Hurricanes in 2023 scoring four tries and made one appearance for Whitehaven. Prior to his move to Castleford, Dawson featured prominently in the Hull KR academy and reserve sides. RFL STATEMENT ON 2024 STRUCTURE
Following a meeting of Betfred Championship and League One clubs last month the RFL Board has confirmed the structure for the 2024 season – including a new, expanded format for the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup. The Betfred Championship will continue as a 14-team competition, with the top six teams qualifying for a Play-Off series culminating in a Grand Final to determine the champions. This will be played at the home ground of the team ranked highest during the regular season. Betfred League One will be a nine-club competition, with each side playing 20 matches – 10 at home, and 10 […]
COVENTRY DEPARTS RAMS
We can today confirm that Jack Coventry has left the club. The twenty-nine-year-old prop joined the club ahead of the 2023 season from Keighley Cougars and made four appearances in our title-winning season. On behalf of everybody at the club we would like to thank Jack for his efforts during his time with the Rams and wish him all the best for the future.
SYKES RE-SIGNS FOR 2024
We are delighted to announce that Paul Sykes has re-signed for the Rams for 2024! The forty-two-year-old, will enter his 26th season in first-class rugby league, having played over 500 games since making his debut with Bradford Bulls in 1999. Sykes has featured for London Broncos (where he is still the record points scorer), Wakefield Trinity and Featherstone Rovers at club level as well as England and Great Britain. After joining the Rams in 2016, the veteran Sykes has made 170 appearances for the Rams, scoring 1,049 points. In our title-winning 2023 season, he made 19 appearances and scored 191 […]
MEET THE PLAYERS NIGHT AND KIT LAUNCH DATE ANNOUNCED
Our annual Meet the Players Night and Kit Launch will be taking place on Friday 8th December at 19:30 in the Royal Suite at FLAIR Stadium. This will be your chance to meet the members of the 2024 Rams squad and ask your questions to Head Coach Dale Ferguson. As well as this we will also be revealing our new home and away shirts for the 2024 season and our apparel partners Ellgren will be selling our new home and away shirts as well as new items from our leisure/ training wear range, perfect in time for Christmas!
