Swinton game called off
Dewsbury Rams can confirm that our game today against the Swinton Lions is postponed. A pitch inspection took place at 10.30am and it was decided that the game should be called off. A rearranged fixture against Swinton will be announced by both clubs in due course. The Rams next game is away at Halifax next weekend.
Reilly ready for Swinton
Dewsbury Rams player Martyn Reilly is ready to take on the Swinton Lions and try to get the team’s first win. Dewsbury Rams can confirm that Hull KR second rower/loose forward Matty Gee has joined the club on dual-registration. The 25 year old has played at the highest level of the game in Betfred Super League for the London Broncos. Having signed for Hull KR at the start of this season, Gee has arrived at the Tetley’s Stadium to get game time. He started his career at Super League side the Salford Red Devils. The AB Sundecks 1895 Cup will have a fresh look in its second season, with three Community clubs from the National Conference League Premier Division joining 17 from Betfred Championship and League 1 for a second opportunity in 2020 to reach a Wembley Final.
