Greenwood previews Toulouse fixture
Dewsbury Rams head coach Lee Greenwood has had his say before the home game against Toulouse. Greenwood believes the Rams should be confident going into the fixture following the victory over Widnes last Sunday, however he knows how tough a test the French side will put up. Halliday moves to Donny on loan
Dewsbury Rams can tonight confirm Tom Halliday will be joining League 1 club Doncaster RLFC on loan for a month. The winger will go to the Dons to compete in their squad for game time. Everyone at the Rams wishes Tom best of luck whilst at Doncaster.
Amber Ribbon contribute to stadium improvements
The Amber Ribbon have once again stepped in and helped to fund the fixing of some new fire doors for the Tetley’s stadium. The Amber Ribbon continues to raise money to help the Club, the latest of these projects was the fitting of some new fire doors at the North Stand. Amber Ribbon bus to Blackpool
The Amber Ribbon will be running a coach on the 19th may to the Summer Bash fixtures in Blackpool. The bus pick up times and places are as follows. Hanging Heaton Working Mens Club 9.15am Timepiece Dewsbury 9.30am Tesco’s Mirfield 9.45am The cost is £12 and the coach will return 30 minutes after the last game. Places are limited and it is advised to book early to avoid disappointment, the deadline for booking a place is Wednesday 8th May. Dewsbury Rams are looking for children aged between 4 and 14 to be a mascot at various home games through to the end of the season. This includes next Friday 10th May Challenge Cup tie against Halifax which is an 8pm kick off. Firstly on injury news, Greenwood said: “Paul Sykes recovery is going fine but we can’t rush him back with the type of injury he has and the way they treat it. He is getting on with his recovery and he’s doing everything right. He really looks after himself does Paul, there are not many people his age who have played as long as him and are still playing, and he’s not just playing for the sake of it but actually doing his job right.
