REMBERENCE PLAQUE TO BE UNVEILED
After Sunday’s game against Cornwall RLFC a plaque will be unveiled in the Royal Suite to remember former Dewsbury RLFC player John Davies who died tragically in 1969. John Davies was just twenty-eight years old when he suffered a fatal heart attack during a Heavy Woollen Derby against Batley RLFC on Tuesday 15th April 1969, leaving behind his wife and two young children, Erica and Richard. Born in Neath in 1941, Davies was a cross-code superstar having played featured in an international for Wales Rugby Union in 1962, before making the switch to Rugby League. SKOLARS DATE CONFIRMED
As revealed earlier this week our away game against London Skolars will now take place on Saturday 29th April at 14:30. The fixture which was scheduled to take place on Saturday 22nd April but has been rearranged to accommodate our Challenge Cup Fixture against London Broncos. The match will take place at the New River Stadium in North London, tickets are priced at £15 for Adults and £10 for Concessions, to get yours online click here.
