The Dewsbury Rams cheerleaders are recruiting for the 2019 season. Sessions take place at Dewsbury sports centre. The junior class (age 5+) takes place 4pm-5pm whilst the senior class (age 12+) takes place at 5pm-6pm. Both classes take place on a Monday and each child receives one free trial session. We perform at all home games, and are a part of Panache Cheer and Dance school. Panache is one of the best schools in the UK and many of their cheerleaders, several being Dewsbury cheerleaders have been selected for competition teams and are now national champions. Worrincy pleased to get the victory over former club
Dewsbury Rams winger Rob Worrincy was pleased to get the win on Friday night over his former team. The 33 year old has played for the Eagles in three separate stints totaling over 100 appearances for the club. On the 30-20 victory on Friday evening he said: “The win was important and was great to get the result having come away from there recently having narrowly missing out on a result. “It is always nice getting a win but for me getting it against a former club doesn’t make it sweeter. Kelly delighted with win
Dewsbury Rams head coach Neil Kelly was delighted with the victory on Friday night in Sheffield. The Rams defeated the Eagles 30-20 to gain two more vital points in the Championship Shield. On the performance Kelly said: “First of all any win at Sheffield is a good win. I thought it was a jekyll and Hyde performance really. For all we reached brilliance in some stages, we put together some great sets. I thought we defended superbly well even though we conceded 20 odd points. To celebrate the important role that fans play, Supporters Direct are proud to announce the continuation of the Supporters Direct Community Champion Award in association with the Rugby Football League (RFL). The award will be presented at the Betfred Championship and League 1 Gala Dinner to be held in September. Rams remember Graham Beaumont
This Sunday’s Championship Shield match against Barrow Raider is the fixture closest to the anniversary of the sad passing of Graham Beaumont, who died a year ago today, 5th September 2017. Graham did a great deal for the club and was a major backer and supporter of the Rams over many years. He passed away aged 62 after suffering a heart-related issue. At the beginning of the 2018 season, the Eastern Terrace was renamed The Beaumont Terrace in honour of Graham’s service to the club. We ask everyone who is coming to the game on Sunday to think of Graham. […]
