JOB VACANCY- Rams looking for new cleaner
Dewsbury Rams require a cleaner for general cleaning duties at the Tetley’s Stadium both post match and throughout the week. Duties include cleaning bars and function rooms and ancillary areas, corporate boxes, offices and other areas throughout the stadium. Hours vary week by week depending on function room bookings and match days at the stadium as well as everyday cleaning needs. Applicants will be required to submit a timesheet each week that they work. Fan Lee Jackson helps Rams put up signs
Dewsbury Rams would like to thank die hard supporter Lee Jackson of LMJ Fencing and decking for helping to put signs up. The club has decided to put new signage up with the club’s new badge now prominent around the ground. This signals another off field change as the club prepare for the upcoming 2020 season. RFL’s super fans scheme
2020 is a special year for Rugby League. The sport will be 125 years old and the Rugby Football League will mark the occasion with a year-long celebration involving the game’s most passionate supporters. Full details of ‘125’ celebrations will be announced early in the New Year. Before then, the RFL is looking to recruit 125 ‘super fans’ to take part in an exciting range of activities throughout the year and help shape the evolution of the anniversary celebrations. RFL appoint new presidents
Clare Balding OBE will become the 30th President of the Rugby Football League next summer. The broadcaster, journalist and author will succeed Tony Adams MBE, who is halfway through his one-year term in the honorary and ceremonial role, and she will be supported as Vice President by Mike Smith, the chief executive of Hull Kingston Rovers who will succeed Doncaster’s Carl Hall, also next summer, as the longest-serving member of the Rugby League Council. Ryder eager to get going for Boxing Day
Dewsbury Rams centre Adam Ryder is very excited by the upcoming boxing day fixture against the Batley Bulldogs. The Rams haven’t won a boxing day game since 2011, but Ryder is confident this year could be the Rams year. He said: “I am really looking forward to boxing day.
