Amber Ribbon Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting of the Amber Ribbon will take place on Friday the 28th February 2020 at 8pm in the Bailey Bar, Dewsbury Rams, Tetley’s Stadium, Owl Lane, Dewsbury, WF12 7RH. The session will include: Opening Remarks. Apologies. Presentation and adoption of annual report by Chairman. Presentation and adoption of accounts by Treasurer. Discussion and Voting on any Motions received. Discussion and Voting on any further motions to amend the Constitution. Closing Remarks. Only Amber Ribbon Members are eligible to attend and participate in the meeting according to the Bye-Laws of the Organisation. No proxy attendance or voting will […]
Widnes Preview
Dewsbury Rams will this weekend take on the Widnes Vikings live on the RFL’s OURLEAGUE app with the game kicking off at 6.15pm. Once again Rams fans will be hoping for a special night under the lights as the last fixture Dewsbury played in it ended in a victory over Halifax. The home side have only played in two competitive fixtures this season, that being at home to Leigh Centurions on the opening weekend and away at Halifax. Dewsbury Rams will this weekend take on Whitehaven in the fourth round of the Coral Challenge Cup. The Rams are coming off the back of an impressive win away at Halifax last Tuesday evening and head coach Lee Greenwood will be hoping that, that form and performance carries on into this weekend. Meanwhile Whitehaven will be hoping just to get off of the mark with a victory as so far they have lost all three of their Championship games. GRASSROOTS: Batley Boys take on Shaw Cross Sharks in local derby in National Conference Division Three
NATIONAL CONFERENCE LEAGUE: The big kick off for the 2020 season for Division Three clubs saw the programme decimated by the weather. The much anticipated local derby across the valley between Batley Boys & Shaw Cross Sharks fell to the sword wielded by Storm Dennis! Hopefully milder conditions will prevail this coming Saturday 29th February when the Sharks are scheduled to take on Eastmoor Dragons. Eastmoor will come into that fixture battle hardened by their opening day 14 – 12 victory at Gateshead Storm.
