RAIDERS BEAT RAMS
Rams second half fightback in vain as they fall to defeat against Barrow Raiders. Following on from last weekend’s home defeat against Widnes Vikings, the Rams travelled up to Cumbria for their first away Betfred Championship fixture of 2024. The game didn’t start well for Dewsbury as Tom Wilkinson scored first for the home side after just four minutes, going over under the sticks. However, the Rams managed to answer straight back through Bailey Dawson, who just about managed to get the ball down on the Rams’ left hand side. For the next fifteen minutes or so the game turned […]

VIKINGS BEAT RAMS
Rams beaten Vikings in tricky conditions at FLAIR Stadium. After a fantastic victory against local rivals Batley Bulldogs, the Rams returned to FLAIR Stadium to face Widnes Vikings, a side they had beaten just over a year ago in the Betfred Challenge Cup. With weather conditions not ideal for rugby league, Widnes got the game underway with a strong wind on their back and some early pressure on the Rams’ line, but it was the Rams who had the first major chance of the game. A neat kick from Paul Sykes was spilled by Ryan Ince but unfortunately Curtis Davies […]

LIONS BEAT RAMS
Rams suffer defeat at Heywood Road against Swinton. After last week’s narrow defeat in Cumbria, the Rams were back on the road again this time to Heywood Road to face Swinton Lions. It was the home side who got off to the perfect start when Mitch Cox collected a grubber to score the opening try of the game. The Rams answered straight back, after Jacob Hookem provided a wonderful late offload to give Curtis Davies an easy opportunity to score his second of the season. The Rams extended their lead just after the fifteen minute mark with another wonderful offload […]
