Here are all of the award winners from Sunday’s Presentation Night! The Rams’ top try scorer for 2023 Owen Restall was awarded the Amber Ribbon Player of the Year trophy from Amber Ribbon Chairman Charlie Coates. The Clubman of the Year award went to long-serving Player Liaison Officer Ray Abbey and was collected in his absence by Neil Coulson. Departing Head Coach Liam Finn’s message to the Rams supporters. After Liam Finn was confirmed as the new Halifax Panthers Head Coach for 2024, he had the following message for the Dewsbury Rams supporters: I will be really sad to leave Dewsbury, especially after the year that we’ve all enjoyed. The Halifax job is too good of an opportunity that I can turn down as a young ambitious coach and I think that people understand that. CLUB STATEMENT
Due to recent isolated incidents at the club, we feel that at this point in time we must remind all of our supporters of the following. Anti-social behaviour, whether it be offensive, discriminatory, homophobic language or aggressive behaviour is not welcome at the club, this also applies when visiting other clubs. If such behaviour is reported and if a named individual is identified, this could lead to a ban being issued. Additionally, this behaviour could also lead to financial penalties against the club. Any individual who makes personal attacks, threats, or comments/posts of a derogatory nature on the club’s official […]
