Dewsbury Moor are seeking to recruit a new senior squad head coach. The head coach will have responsibility for the first team, under-20s and second team players, and be expected to build and maintain a strong relationship with the under-18s coaching staff. The position will oversee around 60 local players, mostly under the age of 24, and a team that has recently earned promotion to National Conference League Division 2. Halliday ready to continue Rugby League journey in 2018
While admitting that he is still completing the transition between rugby union and rugby league, Rams winger Tom Halliday believes he’ll be in a much stronger position by the time the 2018 season starts. Halliday, 21, joined the Rams at the back end of last season from Goole Rugby Union, and says that he still needs to work a few things out in his game. Dewsbury Moor Ladies were 90-0 winners against Thornhill Trojans Ladies on Sunday. Despite the big difference on the scoreboard, the game was played in a great spirit and the winning side were commended for their sportsmanship on a challenging day for the visitors.
Day seeks consistency after making big impact in 2017
Dewsbury Rams hooker Sam Day says that consistency is a key personal priority as he prepares for his first full season with the club. Day arrived at the club from Featherstone Rovers part way through last season, initially on loan, before making the move permanent.
