We are delighted to announce that George Collins has joined the club for the 2023 season! Halfback Collins has joined from Castleford Tigers, having moved there from Huddersfield Giants ahead of the 2022 season. Although Collins didn’t make a competitive appearance for Castleford, he did feature for both Whitehaven and Midlands Hurricanes in 2022, before a dislocated kneecap brought an early end to his season. Congratulations to Dale Ferguson and Davey Dixon who have both been selected for the Scotland World Cup Squad! We would like to wish the best of luck to Dale Ferguson and Davey Dixon who have both made it into Scotland Head Coach Nathan Graham’s final twenty-four-man squad for the Rugby League World Cup. FAX DUO JOIN FOR 2023
We are delighted to announce that former Halifax duo Matt Garside and Elliot Morris have signed up for the 2023 season! Prop Morris, had been with Halifax Panthers since 2016, making over one hundred appearances for the Shaymen after initially joining their reserve side. Thirty-one-year-old Garside has played over two hundred and fifty times in his career representing the likes of London Broncos, Bradford Bulls and York City Knights. Both Garside and Morris played for the Rams last season on loan from Halifax, with Morris making five appearances and Garside making two. On joining permanently Morris said, “I’m very happy […]

PLAYERS TO DEPART RAMS
Dewsbury Rams can today confirm the players that will be leaving the club at the end of this season. With nearly two hundred Rams appearances between them, Michael Knowles and Adam Ryder are the two longest serving Rams players who will be leaving. Knowles, who recently celebrated his testimonial year at the club, made over one hundred appearances for the Rams in six seasons, scoring twenty-one one tries, kicking three goals and four drop-goals including the winning point in our game against Workington Town back in April. ANNAKIN RETIRES
Dewsbury Rams can today confirm that Chris Annakin has retired from Rugby League with immediate effect on medical advice. Annakin, who joined the Rams permanently in 2020 following previous loan spells with the club, played forty-three times, making thirty-five starts and scoring one try. He started his career at Wakefield Trinity making seventy-eight appearances for the Super League side and also played for Workington, Featherstone and London. This season Chris has had an on-going injury issue which has required him to seek specialist advice and go through multiple assessments, unfortunately the medical advice has meant that he has had to […]

We are delighted to announce that Harry Tyson-Wilson has joined the Rams for the 2023 season! Tyson-Wilson is a 25-year-old halfback, who came through the academy at Hull FC and has featured for York City Knights, Sheffield Eagles and Doncaster RLFC. Recently he has been over in Australia playing for the Sarina Crocodiles.
