Vikings edge past a much-improved Rams side at the DCBL Stadium. On what was a scorching afternoon in Cheshire, the Rams were looking to get their first away win of the season and the sweltering conditions certainly played their part throughout the game. RAMS TO HOST SCHOOLS TOURNAMENT
Dewsbury Rams are delighted to announce that we will be holding a tournament for local schools to celebrate the Rugby League World Cup. Taking place on Friday 15th July at the Tetley’s Stadium, we will be hosting an all-day tournament which will involve eight local schools battling it out for the trophy. The tag competition is for under 11 girls and aims to introduce young girls to the sport as well as raise awareness of the club within the community and the opportunities and facilities that are available. PANTHERS BEAT RAMS
Panthers run in seven tries to complete a league double over the Rams at the Tetley’s Stadium. The visit of Halifax Panthers to the Tetley’s Stadium saw the first outing of the Rams under the new management team of Liam Finn and Tony Smith, but things didn’t get off to a promising start when Matty Gee scored first for the visitors, which was converted by Joe Keyes.
