Teanby leaves for York
Dewsbury Rams can confirm that Jack Teanby has left the club. Teanby has signed for newly promoted team York City Knights. The 22 year old played over 70 games for the Rams scoring a number of tries for the club. Teanby signed for Dewsbury in 2016 and became a fans favourite at the Rams.
Halliday signs for Rams
Dewsbury Rams can announce that they have re-signed Tom Halliday. The 22 year old was previously at the Rams at the end of last season. However he left the club earlier this year to gain more experience in Australia. Now though the winger is back to give the Betfred Championship another crack. Greenwood appointed Rams head coach
Dewsbury Rams can officially announce that Lee Greenwood is the club’s new head coach. The announcement was made at the fans forum which was held at the stadium on Friday night 19th October. The 38 year old played for sides such as Leigh, Batley and Halifax through his career. Then in 2014 he was appointed head coach of Gloucestershire All Golds. Having spent three years at the League 1 club he left the All Golds in 2017. There will be an interview on the website with the new head coach soon.
Worrincy stays at Rams
Dewsbury Rams can announce that winger Rob Worrincy will be staying on at the Rams for the 2019 season. The pacey winger has delighted Dewsbury fans last season with some exceptional full field tries, two of which came away at Rochdale. Worrincy who is 33 years old has put pen to paper on a deal which will keep him at the club for the 2019 campaign. If you want to see Rob in action why not buy a 2019 season ticket. Martin joins Rams
Dewsbury Rams can announce that the club has signed Charlie Martin from League 1 side Doncaster RLFC. The 25 year old mainly plays in the back-row positions. He started his career at local side Thornhill Trojans before signing for Castleford Tigers. Martin has also represented Hunslet and Keighley before moving to Doncaster on a two year deal. The former Castleford player also had a spell in Rugby Union with Huddersfield RUFC. However after a brief spell in the Union game, he decided he wanted to persue a career in Rugby League again. Dewsbury Rams announced Lee Greenwood as the club’s new head coach at the recent fans forum. Greenwood who is the former boss of Gloucestershire All Golds explained his excitement at being unveiled as the new Rams head coach. He exclusively spoke to the Rams website.
