Dewsbury Rams are delighted to announce that 23 year old utility back Tommy Brierley has signed for the club on a one year deal. Brierley can play in any of the back positions and insists he is comfortable playing in any position, he’s just pleased to be able to sign for his hometown team. Summer Bash announcement
Dewsbury Rams can announce that the club will be facing the Batley Bulldogs once more at the Summer Bash. Batley will once again be the home side for the fixture. The fixture will take place on the 30th May with a kick off time of 3pm. It will mean that the closest derby in Rugby League will kick off the event in Blackpool. The Rams have a 3-2 lead in Summer Bash match wins, however last year the club were defeated. This time around the Rams will be wanting revenge in Blackpool. Dewsbury Rams can announce that Betfred Super League side Hull KR winger Will Oakes has moved to the Rams on a season long loan. The 20 year old who grew up in Halifax has played at the highest level of the sport and now he will be representing the Rams in the Betfred Championship. Oakes started his career in the Wakefield Trinity scholarship academy, he stayed there for a few seasons before moving to Hull KR to find first team opportunities. 2020 season fixtures announced
Dewsbury Rams can announce our 2020 fixtures. The Rams begin their 2020 campaign off on Friday 31st January when we will face the Leigh Centurions at the Tetley’s Stadium. Dewsbury Vs Leigh is the very first game of the new campaign. Trips to Swinton and Halifax follow before our home game against Widnes in round 4. Dewsbury’s first game against the Batley Bulldogs will take place on Friday 10th April. The Rams will make their way to South Yorkshire to face Sheffield Eagles on 15th May.
