The Dewsbury Rams announced a few week’s ago that new player Frazer Morris had joined the club after leaving fellow West Yorkshire side Halifax RFLC. We caught up with Frazer as he has now played two games for Dewsbury, the victory over Swinton in the 1895 cup game and against Rochdale in the Betfred Championship. Morris explained that he is delighted to have joined the club and is now looking forward to cracking on with the rest of the season. Dewsbury Rams can now reveal the AB Sundecks 1895 cup competition details, as we have been drawn against the Widnes Vikings for our quarter-final draw. The match will take place on Wednesday 26th June with an 8pm kick off at the Halton Stadium. The Rams have made it to the quarter-finals after beating Swinton at home in the last round. The ticket prices for the game is as follows. £20 Adults £15 Concession £10 under 16’s. We hope to see as many fans travel across to the Vikings as possible to cheer on the team.

Dewsbury Rams Kyle Trout insists that it was a real team effort to get the win over Rochdale on Sunday, the Rams scored 11 tries in an impressive 66-10 win over their Lancashire rivals. On the win over Rochdale, Trout said: “Probably attacking wise it was pretty pleasing to score that many points, but it was the little things as well that paid off today. Dewsbury Rams head coach Lee Greenwood was delighted with his side’s victory over the Rochdale Hornets last weekend, as the Rams won 66-10 on Sunday afternoon. The win lifts the Rams back over Swinton in the league standings and now they will go to Canada to face the Toronto Wolfpack full of confidence.
