Dewsbury Rams head coach Lee Greenwood reflected on the Rams 1895 cup exit defeat to the Widnes Vikings. He said: “It was disappointing as you say and we are doing this tough and we are at rock bottom. Dewsbury Rams were eliminated from the 1895 cup competition after a disappointing defeat away at the Widnes Vikings on Wednesday night. The Vikings go onto play in the cup semi-final meanwhile Dewsbury now have to concentrate on the league form. Anthony Gelling and Lloyd Roby both scored a hat-trick of tries on the night for the Vikings. It was the Rams who started well and scored the first points of the game. Martin keen to impress at new club
Dewsbury Rams new signing Joe Martin is hoping to make a good impression in his first couple of week’s at the club. The former amateur player recently signed for the Rams and has since made the fullback position his own, he insists that whilst he hasn’t enjoyed the defeats so far in his time at the club, overall he is looking forward to what the future may bring at Dewsbury. Amber Ribbon help with ground maintenance
Dewsbury Rams have been working closely with the Amber Ribbon on various ground refurbishments, one of these are the stadium waste pumps. The Club & Amber Ribbon have come together to resolve the issue, and the club can now confirm that the project was a success. The Amber Ribbon have contributed towards the cost of renewing the on ground waste pumps. With a stadium that is now 25 years old, maintenance and renewal of certain parts are required. Drainage and plumbing although not the most attractive of subjects non the less is vitally important to the functioning of the stadium. […]
