Dewsbury Rams can announce that Betfred Super League side Hull KR winger Will Oakes has moved to the Rams on a season long loan. The 20 year old who grew up in Halifax has played at the highest level of the sport and now he will be representing the Rams in the Betfred Championship. Oakes started his career in the Wakefield Trinity scholarship academy, he stayed there for a few seasons before moving to Hull KR to find first team opportunities. Shirt launch night announced for 11th December
Dewsbury Rams are delighted to announce that this year’s shirt launch and meet the players night will take place on Wednesday the 11th December. The event will start at 7.30pm in the Royal Suite. On the night fans will be introduced to the Rams 2020 squad. Interviews will take place with head coach Lee Greenwood and various players from the squad. Also on the evening fans will see the new 2020 shirt as produced by BSK and designed by two Dewsbury Rams supporters. Dewsbury Rams are delighted to announce that it has been able to sign halfback Morgan Punchard on a one year deal. The 20 year old is one of the brightest talents to come through the game in recent years. Having played at both Halifax and Featherstone, Punchard has a good understanding of the Betfred Championship. Summer Bash announcement
Dewsbury Rams can announce that the club will be facing the Batley Bulldogs once more at the Summer Bash. Batley will once again be the home side for the fixture. The fixture will take place on the 30th May with a kick off time of 3pm. It will mean that the closest derby in Rugby League will kick off the event in Blackpool. The Rams have a 3-2 lead in Summer Bash match wins, however last year the club were defeated. This time around the Rams will be wanting revenge in Blackpool.
