2020 is a special year for Rugby League. The sport will be 125 years old and the Rugby Football League will mark the occasion with a year-long celebration involving the game’s most passionate supporters. Full details of ‘125’ celebrations will be announced early in the New Year. RFL appoint new presidents
Clare Balding OBE will become the 30th President of the Rugby Football League next summer. The broadcaster, journalist and author will succeed Tony Adams MBE, who is halfway through his one-year term in the honorary and ceremonial role, and she will be supported as Vice President by Mike Smith, the chief executive of Hull Kingston Rovers who will succeed Doncaster’s Carl Hall, also next summer, as the longest-serving member of the Rugby League Council. Rams unveil new drinking beakers
Dewsbury Rams are delighted to unveil a brand new reusable and environmentally friendly beaker. The new beaker is to reduce the need at the Rams for single use plastic pints. You will see from the photo we are displaying our colours. We were extremely pleased for Dean Austerfield to sponsor the beaker. Dean is a new club partner for the 2020 season. Dean said: “It’s fantastic to be able to have my company logo on all the drinking cups. Shirt Launch Review
On the 11th December Dewsbury Rams held their kit launch. It was a fantastic event with a bumper crowd. The evening started off with chairman Mark Sawyer explaining a bit about the projects going on at the club. He also thanked club sponsors, saying it is the most the club has had for many years. Mark stood in front of a backdrop which has been brilliantly organised by Ady Marsh. The professional feel to the evening was fantastic. Mark then passed the mic over to head coach Lee Greenwood. Medical team changes
Dewsbury Rams can confirm that there have been a number of changes to it’s medical staff this season. Club physio Amy Wesson has departed for pastures new after working at the Rams for three years, and everyone at the club wishes her good luck for the future. Amy did leave Dewsbury with a heavy heart, and she was very appreciative to the club for her first job as a physio in professional sport, but her dream was to work full-time in sport. Jonny McRae as head physiotherapist. Jonny was working at Castleford as the U16s physio, but didn’t want to […]

Dewsbury Rams would like to thank die hard supporter Lee Jackson of LMJ Fencing and decking for helping to put signs up. The club has decided to put new signage up with the club’s new badge now prominent around the ground. This signals another off field change as the club prepare for the upcoming 2020 season.
