Jacob Bateman has signed with the Rams to stay here for the next two years.
Bateman joined the Rams at the very start of 2026 on a season-long loan from the Bradford Bulls.
He’s become an integral part of the squad, making 16 appearances with nine starts for us this season.
Bateman spoke on why he decided to sign here: “After joining the Rams on loan, the club really grew on me to the point where I wanted to stay, so signing the contract was a no-brainer,
“I can’t wait to dig in here for the next two years.”

Paul March stated: “Jacob has enjoyed playing with us this year and is grateful for an opportunity, and his way of repaying us is to stick around for the next 2 years and continue his development, and hopefully fulfil his dream of playing in the Super League one day,
“I see him as a line running back rower who can also play middle, so his versatility will give me plenty of options”
Bateman joins Danny Addy and Bailey O’Connor in the latest signings for the Rams.
