We are delighted to confirm the season-long loan signing of 19-year-old forward Jacob Bateman from the Bradford Bulls.
Primarily a back-rower, Bateman is also capable of featuring through the middle when required. He is the cousin of England international and former Bulls star John Bateman.
Jacob has previously enjoyed loan spells with Newcastle Thunder and local rivals the Batley Bulldogs, making four Championship appearances for the Bulldogs last season.
