Squad Update: Departures & Injury News
The club would like to provide an update on recent squad developments, including player departures and the current injury status of several members of the team.
Departures
Sam Day
We can confirm that Sam Day has now departed the club due to work commitments. Sam has been a dedicated and highly respected member of the squad over the past few years. He leaves with our sincere thanks and best wishes for the future.
Will Shaw
Will Shaw has also left the club by mutual agreement. We would like to thank Will for his efforts and commitment during his time with us and wish him every success in the next chapter of his journey.
Injury Update
Dale Ferguson & Tommy Brierley
Both Dale and Tommy have sustained ruptured ACLs early in the season. Medical scans have confirmed the severity of the injuries, and they are awaiting surgery. Unfortunately, both players will be sidelined for the remainder of the season. We wish them all the best for their recovery.
Louis Collinson
Louis has picked up a Grade 2 ATFL (ankle) injury. His rehabilitation is progressing well, and we are hopeful he will be available for selection soon.
Jamie Field
Jamie is recovering from a Grade 1 ATFL (ankle) injury. Like Louis, he is expected to return to action in the near future, pending final fitness assessments.
Toby Everett
Toby sustained a thumb injury during the recent fixture against Keighley, resulting in two broken bones. He has since undergone surgery and is currently in a cast. The aim is for Toby to be available for our upcoming home fixture against Midlands, subject to recovery progress.
We appreciate the ongoing support of our fans and will try to keep you updated as the situation evolves.
