We are delighted to announce that Connor Davies has re-signed for the Rams for the 2023 season!
The Welsh international who featured in all three of Wales’ Rugby League World Cup matches last month, joined the Rams from Workington Town midway through the 2022 season and featured seven times scoring twice. The twenty-five-year-old had previously played the Rams on loan in 2021 and for Halifax Panthers and South Wales Scorpions before his move to Cumbria.
On re-signing for next year Davies said “It’s great to have re-signed with the Rams again for next year, our sole ambition is to be successful in 2023 and anything else for us would be a failure, so I can’t wait to get going.”
Head Coach Liam Finn said “Connor showed last year what quality he will bring. Hard working, very good in contact and helping people around him defend. With the ball he’s got good footwork and will be a big asset coming back towards any tired defenders who might switch off.”
