We are delighted to announce that Jacob Doyle has joined the Rams for the 2023 season!
The twenty-one-year-old, who can play at fullback, centre or wing has joined from Featherstone Rovers, in 2021 he played for Featherstone in the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Final at Wembley, scoring twice as they beat York City Knights. He spent last season on loan at Hunslet RLFC featuring nine times last year, scoring six tries.
On joining the Rams, Doyle said, “I’m very grateful to Finny for giving me this opportunity, I’m looking forward to working with him and the rest of the lads and showing the fans what I can do in Dewsbury colours.”
Head Coach Liam Finn said “Jacob’s a real strong ball carrier that can play numerous positions in the outside backs. He’s another young player that’s keen to learn and full of enthusiasm. He’s another person who we believe is what we want to be about next year.”
