Hall: I had to join after speaking to Lee about the club, players and fans and the vision moving forward

Dewsbury Rams recently signed 27 year old Aaron Hall.

The former Swinton Lions player spoke exclusively to the Rams website about joining the Tetley’s Stadium side.

He said: “I had to join after speaking to Lee about the club, players and fans and the vision moving forward this season and beyond.

“I didn’t know too much about the club other than as an opponent and visitor, every time I’ve been in the past the staff and fans were polite and welcoming.”

Hall has previous experience playing at this level for the Lions. This he believes will stand him in good stead moving forward.

“I’ve played Championship Rugby previously with Swinton Lions and also for Hemel stags in League 1. I played my amateur rugby at Folly Lane ARLFC.

“I have also played for England University for a number of years whilst studying.”

“The Championship is a very tough league and you have to be prepared both physically and mentally every week as different teams pose different challenges.

“I’m looking forward to testing myself again at this level and proving to myself that I can consistently perform and contribute to the success of Dewsbury Rams.”

The prop forward is hoping to be a regular on the teamsheet throughout the 2021 season.

Hall commented: “My aim is to consistently perform every week and contribute to the success of the team on and off the field with my actions.

“I am very excited to pull on the Dewsbury shirt after what I know has been a tough year for all and I can’t wait to see all the fans at the Tetley Stadium in the not too distant future.”
