The award winners from this evening’s Annual Presentation Night have been announced! Jimmy Beckett, who had his re-signing for 2023 announced during the Presentation Night won both the Man of Steel and Player’s Player of the Year Award. Recent stand-in skipper Reiss Butterworth picked up the Coach’s Player of the Year Award, awarded to him by Head Coach Liam Finn. 41-year-old Paul Sykes was the recipient of both the Amber Ribbon Player of the Year Award and Supporters Player of the Year. BECKETT RE-SIGNS FOR 2023
We are delighted to announce that Jimmy Beckett has re-signed for the Rams for the 2023 season! The Prop Forward who celebrated his twenty-third birthday on Monday, joined the Rams on loan from Featherstone Rovers in 2021 before making the deal permanent ahead of the 2022 season and has now committed to another season at the Tetley’s Stadium. We are delighted to announce that Scottish International Davey Dixon has re-signed for the Rams for the 2023 season! The 25-year-old Scotland Centre has signed up for his fourth season with the Rams since joining from Keighley Cougars at the end of 2019. During his spell with the Rams, Davey has made thirty-two appearances, scoring seven tries including four so far this season. A reminder to all fans that the Annual Dewsbury Rams Presentation Night is tomorrow evening (Friday 2nd September.) This year’s Presentation Night will be held in the Royal Suite and will get underway at 19:30. Entrance to the event is free, a ticket will not be required.

Twelve-man Rams battle valiantly but lose out to Barrow Raiders. Another trip to Cumbria awaited the Rams on the first weekend of September to face this season’s surprise package Barrow Raiders, looking to avenge their narrow defeat on Monday night against Batley Bulldogs.
