Rams beaten by Toulouse Olympique at the Stade Ernest-Wallon. After last week’s agonising defeat at the Fox’s Biscuits Stadium against Batley, the Rams faced a trip to the South of France to play the in-form Toulouse Olympique. Rams fall to narrow defeat against Bulldogs at Fox’s Biscuits Stadium. After last week’s defeat against Widnes, the Rams made the short trip to the Fox’s Biscuits Stadium for another Heavy Woollen Derby against Batley Bulldogs. Brandon Moore scored the opening points of the game for Batley just before the ten minute mark after he collected a high ball by Josh Woods that was spilt. Dewsbury answered straight back though, a Calum Turner cross-field kick was collected by a leaping Brad Graham who fed Lewis Carr to score his third of the season in the corner. KIRKWOOD AWARENESS DAY
On Sunday 7th July we joined forces with The Kirkwood to help raise funds and awareness about the charity work The Kirkwood does. As we took on Doncaster RLFC in a hotly contested Championship fixture it was fantastic to have a number of The Kirkwood’s staff and volunteers there to raise funds through a bucket collection, the charity raised over £350 on the day. The Kirkwood’s Media and Marketing Officer Steven Downes said of the partnership and event: “Having previously worked for the Rams I know what a fantastic community the club is where everyone cares for each other. BECKETT TO DEPART RAMS IN SWAP DEAL
We can today confirm that Jimmy Beckett joined Featherstone Rovers with immediate effect as part of a swap deal. Twenty-four-year old Beckett has been a stand out performer for the club since his arrival in 2021 and had already agreed to join Rovers for the 2025 season but will now join up with Featherstone ahead of this season’s transfer deadline. While not ideal from a club point of view, we felt that Jimmy has given such tremendous commitment and effort to the cause during his time with us, that it was fair to reward him with a move now that […]
