Departing club captain Jimmy Beckett had a message for Rams fans after his move to Featherstone. “Firstly, I’d like to say thank you to everyone involved at the club from Mark, to all the volunteers at the club and especially the fans for getting behind me from the first day I arrived. I’ve loved my time at Dewsbury and I’m extremely thankful for it, I’ve made some fantastic memories, from winning the league last season to captaining the side this year. I wish the club every success going forward. Jimmy”

BECKETT TO DEPART RAMS IN SWAP DEAL
We can today confirm that Jimmy Beckett joined Featherstone Rovers with immediate effect as part of a swap deal. Twenty-four-year old Beckett has been a stand out performer for the club since his arrival in 2021 and had already agreed to join Rovers for the 2025 season but will now join up with Featherstone ahead of this season’s transfer deadline. Rams beaten by Toulouse Olympique at the Stade Ernest-Wallon. After last week’s agonising defeat at the Fox’s Biscuits Stadium against Batley, the Rams faced a trip to the South of France to play the in-form Toulouse Olympique. The Rams got off to a bad start knocking fifteen metres out on their first set and it got worse when Toulouse put their first points on the board shortly after when Guy Armitage crashed over from short range. The Amber Ribbon only have a few remaining on the supporters’ coach to our game against York Knights on Sunday 11th August. The pick up times for the trip are as follows: 11:45 – Mirfield (opposite Tesco) 12:00 – Dewsbury (opposite Timepiece) 12:15 – Hanging Heaton Working Men’s Club The cost for the trip is £15 for Amber Ribbon Members and £17 for non-members.
