Jenson Okhovat RIP
Dewsbury Rams is sad to hear of the passing of Jenson Okhovat. Jenson was 28 years old when he passed away and all our sympathies are with his family and friends. Jenson won the Reserve League in 2015 with the Rams under the stewardship of coach Jonathan Schofield. Rams enter Autumn Cup
Dewsbury Rams can today confirm that the club has decided to submit an entry for the RFL’s Autumn invitational cup. The decision was made following the Rams being able to secure testing for relevant staff and players. The Rams are in the process of agreeing a relevant capacity under the current circumstances. There would need to be an inspection by Kirklees of whatever arrangements are put in place regarding social distancing, entrances and exits to the stadium, bars, toilet etc and there would need to be a “Covid 19 Plan” in place. Rams renew dual-registration partnership with Hull KR for 2021
Dewsbury Rams is pleased to announce an extension to our dual-registration partnership with Betfred Super League side Hull KR for the 2021 season. The news was first announced in a letter to season ticket holders earlier this month. In addition, the two teams will contest a pre-season friendly in 2021 from which Dewsbury will receive all gate receipts. The club would like to thank Robins owner Neil Hudgell, CEO Mike Smith and head coach Tony Smith in agreeing to this partnership.
