Rams beaten by Swinton at FLAIR Stadium. After last Sunday’s defeat at The Shay by Halifax Panthers, the Rams returned to FLAIR Stadium aiming to pick up just their second win of the year against Swinton Lions. After a slow start by the Rams, Jake Spedding scored the opening try for the visitors after a grubber through to the in-goal. This Sunday to coincide with our game against Swinton will be hosting a special Greyhound Trust Day at FLAIR Stadium in partnership with Greyhound Trust West Yorkshire. Starting at 11:30 the Greyhound Trust will be doing a meet and greet for an hour in the South Stand Bar. Before the game they will be holding an event at the side of the Bailey Bar for anyone who is interested in adopting a greyhound and they will have a pop-up stall in the ground throughout the day. After Sunday’s disappointing loss against Swinton, the Rams made the short trip across West Yorkshire to the Millennium Stadium for their penultimate game of the season against Featherstone Rovers. Caleb Aekins opened the scoring for the home side within ten minutes with a simple finish from close range. This was followed shortly after by a try for Ben Reynolds who stepped his way through the Rams defence to score.
