We are delighted to announce that Liam Copland has signed for the Rams for 2025!
The thirty-one-year-old winger has featured for both Hunslet RLFC and Oldham RLFC after making the step up to the professional game in 2020.
In 2024, Copland spent time with Leigh Leopards Reserves as he made his way back to the game after an eighteen month injury layoff.
Upon signing Copland said, “When I heard that Dewsbury were interested in signing me, I didn’t think twice. I spoke to Marchy and it was clear what his vision was.
Dewsbury is a club close to home for me and I have no doubt the Rams are a Championship club, I’m looking forward to 2025 and hopefully help get the club back to where it belongs.”
Head Coach Paul March said, “I’m looking forward to working with Liam, he’s looking for an opportunity to play regularly in the first team having spent last season at Leigh Leopards. He will add competition on the wing and he’s a proven try scorer at all his clubs.”
