CARR RE-SIGNS FOR 2024

We are delighted to announce that Lewis Carr has re-signed for the Rams for 2024!

The twenty-three-year-old winger, who made seventeen starts for the Rams in 2023, will enter his fourth season with the club having made forty-seven appearances since joining ahead of the 2021 season. Carr scored ten tries in our title-winning season including a try-of-the-season contender against Midlands Hurricanes.

Upon re-signing Carr said, “I’m not going anywhere. I love the club, everything about it, I love the boys, the fans and the grass roots in and around it, how could I leave after the opportunity that the club gave me last year and everything that we achieved?

I can’t wait for the new season, a lot of it being the same from last year and the first time experiencing a full team who have been together for two years and who know what we can achieve.

Personally, from last year I thought I did okay, but it was a steppingstone to build my confidence a little and this year is the year I look to show my full potential that I haven’t hit yet.

But I do feel that this is the year the fans will see the best from me!”

Head Coach Dale Ferguson said, “In my opinion he’s a very good winger and for a young lad he’s got a good level of experience in the Championship. I thought he had a good year last year and I’m looking forward to him kicking on next season.”
