We are delighted to announce that Jackson Walker has re-signed for the Rams for 2024!
The twenty-two-year-old prop will, who featured sixteen times for the Rams in 2023, will enter his third season with the club after signing from local amateur side Dewsbury Moor in November 2021. Walker is no stranger to the club having followed the Rams as a youngster, with his dad Matt and uncles Patch and James all wearing the famous red, amber and black jersey.
Upon re-signing Walker said, “I’m buzzing to be staying at Dewsbury for the 2024 season, we’ve got a real close group of lads here that all want to have a real dig and prove a point in the Championship next year. I’m also really looking forward to working with Fergs as coach and you can’t forget Chatty too!”
Head Coach Dale Ferguson said, “Jackson’s a great young forward, who I’ve seen take improve massively over the past few years both in training and in matches. I know he’s been working hard in the off-season, so I’m looking forward to having him back in training.”
