We can today confirm that Reiss Butterworth has left to join Super League side Hull Kingston Rovers.
The 24-year-old has made sixty-two appearances in his three-season stint at the club but will now return to Super League with the East Yorkshire side.
After joining from the Huddersfield Giants ahead of the 2021 season, he was made Club Captain at the end of 2022 and this year has led the side to the Betfred League One title, making twenty-two appearances and scoring four tries.
At the End of Season Awards, Butterworth was awarded the Man of Steel and his performances have also seen him nominated for Betfred League One Player of the Year.
On behalf of everybody at the club we would like to thank Reiss for his efforts during his time with the Rams and wish him all the best for the future.
