We are delighted to announce that Joe Summers has re-signed for the Rams for 2024!
The twenty-three-year-old will enter his second season with the Rams after joining from Hunslet RLFC ahead of the 2023 season. After suffering with injury during last season, Summers only made four appearances, scoring once on his debut against Cornwall at FLAIR Stadium in April.
Upon re-signing Summers said, “I’m delighted to have signed for my home town club for next year and I’m ready to get stuck in and prove to people that I’m ready to be a regular first-team player.
Head Coach Dale Ferguson said, “I’ve played alongside him at Featherstone and Dewsbury and I know how good he can be, injuries hampered his time in the side last year but I’m really looking to forward to seeing him get to the levels I know he can with a full pre-season under his belt.”
