TWO RAMS VICTORIOUS AT AWARDS NIGHT

Reiss Butterworth and Liam Finn both took home prestigious awards at the Rugby League Awards Night in Manchester.

All together there were three Rams up for awards on the evening, held at The Point at Emirates Old Trafford, that celebrated the best of rugby league.

Both Paul Sykes and Reiss Butterworth were nominated for Betfred League One Player of the Year, whilst outgoing Head Coach Liam Finn was nominated for Betfred League One Head Coach of the Year.

It was title-winning captain Butterworth who took home the Player of the Year prize, against stiff competition in Sykes, Sam Smeaton of Doncaster and Martyn Ridyard of Oldham.

Outgoing Head Coach Liam Finn took the Coach of the Year award after guiding the Rams back to the Betfred Championship at the first attempt winning the title with one game to spare. Also nominated in this category were Mike Abbott of Cornwall and Anthony Murray of Workington Town.

In the other League One award presented on the evening; Ciaran Walker of Workington Town picked up the award for Betfred League One Young Player of the Year.
