Departing Head Coach Liam Finn’s message to the Rams supporters.
After Liam Finn was confirmed as the new Halifax Panthers Head Coach for 2024, he had the following message for the Dewsbury Rams supporters:
I will be really sad to leave Dewsbury, especially after the year that we’ve all enjoyed.
The Halifax job is too good of an opportunity that I can turn down as a young ambitious coach and I think that people understand that.
Thank you to Mark Sawyer for giving me the opportunity to be a Head Coach and to everybody at the club. I’d also like to thank the players who have been outstanding to work with this year.
Last but not least I’d like to thank the fans of Dewsbury who’ve got behind me since day one.
We’ve got one more game to go and a day to celebrate a great season and I hope to see as many of you as possible then.

Finn’s final match will be our game against Doncaster RLFC on Sunday 27th August at the Eco-Power Stadium following which our Annual Presentation Night will take place at 19:30 at FLAIR Stadium.
