We are delighted to announce that Ronan Dixon has joined the Rams for the 2023 season!
The twenty-five-year-old Prop joins the Rams after leaving York City Knights at the end of last season where he made over one hundred appearances scoring fourteen tries. The former Wakefield Trinity youngster joined York in 2017 and played in their side their League One winning side of 2018 and featured in the Championship Playoffs in 2019 and 2022.
On joining the Rams, Dixon said, “I’m really happy to be joining the club, I’m looking forward to starting pre-season with the lads in a couple of weeks and working with them and the staff to try and get promotion.”
Head Coach Liam Finn said “Ronan is a played I’ve been chasing for a few months. He’s a big bloke who will cause damage with his ball carry and tough defence. He adds to an already strong front row and he’s looking to establish himself as a pack leader coming into the prime years of his career.
I’m sure the Dewsbury fans will enjoy his impact on the team. He’s another player who Squadbuilder have helped us to sign, they’ve been huge for our team and we thank them again it’s massively appreciated.”
