We are delighted to announce that Calum Turner has re-signed for the Rams for the 2023 season!
The twenty-three-year-old fullback who joined the club at the beginning of 2022, had an injury-hit season and only made ten appearances, scoring one try and kicking seven goals. Before joining the Rams, he had Championship experience with both Featherstone and Newcastle as well as fourteen Super League appearances with Castleford.
On re-signing Turner said, “I’m really happy to extend my stay here and work with Finny and Casper for a full season. I feel the last month I was gradually getting back to the player I know I can be and hopefully with a full pre-season under my belt I’ll be flying the start of the season.
Head Coach Liam Finn said “We’re looking forward to getting Calum a full pre-season and him getting back to his best. Calum’s a player who has all the ability to play multiple key positions as he showed in the last two games of the season whilst playing halfback.”
