We are delighted to announce that Scottish International Davey Dixon has re-signed for the Rams for the 2023 season!
The 25-year-old Scotland Centre has signed up for his fourth season with the Rams since joining from Keighley Cougars at the end of 2019. During his spell with the Rams, Davey has made thirty-two appearances, scoring seven tries including four so far this season.
On re-signing Dixon said, “I’m absolutely over the moon to be staying at such a great club for next season. I’ve been at Dewsbury a couple of years now and I love it here. If Dewsbury wanted me to stick around, I wasn’t going anywhere.
Finny and Casper have also played a massive part in me staying, when I spoke to Finny and he told me about his ambition for the club and the way him and Casper wanted to play, it suited me. Casper coached me at academy level at Castleford so I know what he’s all about and I feel like I will only improve being coached by them.
We have a massive job to do and that’s to get back in the Championship and I think we owe it to the fans who pay their money and come support us every week.”
Keep your eyes peeled Rams Fans as we’ll be announcing re-signings throughout the next couple of weeks as well as some new signings!
