Dewsbury Rams are delighted to announce that fullback/halfback Reece Chapman-Smith has joined the club for the 2021 season.
Chapman-Smith has plenty of Championship experience having played for fellow division side Halifax.
He also has a connection to the club as his dad Chris Chapman was also a professional player and represented the Rams in his career.
The 22 year old had a good learning curve as a young player as he has come up through the ranks at Betfred Super League side Leeds Rhinos.
He’ll wear the number 22 shirt for next season.
On signing Chapman-Smith head coach Lee Greenwood said: “I rate Reece highly and when we saw he was available we moved quickly to get him.
“He will provide good competition at full back for us but can play anywhere in the back positions. He seems to play well in any game I’ve watched him in, including against us last year for Halifax.
“I spoke to him about joining us when he left Leeds a couple of years ago so he is someone I have followed for a while.”
