Dewsbury Rams can confirm that Jon Magrin has joined the club on a one year deal, the 6ft plus prop/loose forward has signed on the dotted line and is the latest player to join head coach Lee Greenwood’s 2020 squad.

Magrin, 24 years old has previously played for London Broncos, London Skolars and the Bradford Bulls. Having played over 60 games for London Broncos, Magrin has plenty of experience at playing in the Betfred Super League and Championship.

The new Rams signing has also represented Jamaica on the international stage and will be doing so again during this winter period as he comes up against the England Knights later this month. The game is to take place at Emerald Headingley Stadium on October 20th 3pm kick off.

On the new signing, head coach Lee Greenwood said: “I’m really looking forward to seeing Jon in a Dewsbury shirt. He gives us another dimension to what we already have, but he is joining us for the right reasons and is at a good age for someone who has played Championship rugby for a few years.

“He wants to get back to enjoying his rugby, performing well and being part of something special here.”

There will be more reaction from Jon in the coming days, so stayed tuned for an exclusive interview with the Rams new signing.
