Dewsbury Rams Announce Dual Registration Agreement with Bradford Bulls

Dewsbury Rams are pleased to announce a Dual Registration agreement with Championship side Bradford Bulls for the 2025 season.

This strategic partnership offers significant opportunities for both clubs. Bradford Bulls’ emerging talent will gain invaluable experience in the highly competitive League One environment, while the Rams will benefit from enhanced squad depth to support our ambitions for the season.

In contrast to short-term loan arrangements, this agreement prioritises longer-term player availability, aligning with our objective of building a stronger squad capable of achieving promotion by the end of the season.

Bradford Bulls CEO, Jason Hirst said: “Bradford Bulls are delighted to enter into a Dual Registration partnership with our close friends at Dewsbury Rams for the 2025 season. We believe that it will be a mutually beneficial agreement that will not only and obviously benefit Dewsbury, but also ourselves, as we look to expose a number of our talented young players to more regular and demanding game time in the physically and mentally tough League 1 environment, as part of their continuing personal development.

On behalf of Bradford Bulls, I wish Mark Sawyer, Paul March and everyone else at Dewsbury Rams, the very best of luck in what will hopefully be a successful season for the club.”

Commenting on the partnership, Rams Chairman Mark Sawyer said: “I would like to express my gratitude to the Bradford Bulls, particularly their management team, for their collaboration in establishing this agreement. We are confident that this partnership will be mutually beneficial.

Building a competitive squad in League One can be challenging due to financial limitations, but this arrangement provides a practical solution. It not only strengthens our team but also offers Bradford’s players an opportunity to further develop their skills in a competitive setting.”

We are excited about the potential of this collaboration and look forward to working closely with the Bulls to achieve shared success throughout the season.
