13 PLAYERS TO DEPART AT THE END OF THE SEASON

Ahead of our final game of the season on Sunday we can confirm the players who will be leaving FLAIR Stadium at the end of 2024.

The list in full is as follows;

Owen Restall – #1722

Wales international Restall has made 36 appearances for the Rams in two seasons since joining from Oldham RLFC. Owen was the club’s top try scorer in 2023 with 16.

Ollie Greensmith – #1706

Joining ahead of the 2022 season, Greensmith has made 55 appearances and scored 19 tries in his three seasons at FLAIR Stadium. In 2023, he was voted Players’ Player of the Year.

Bailey O’Connor – #1727

After joining from Lock Lane at the start of the 2023 season after impressing on trial, O’Connor has made 38 appearances for the club, scoring 14 tries.

Lewis Carr – #1678

Fans’ favourite Carr is one of the club’s current longest serving players into his fourth season, during which time he’s made 69 starts and scored 25 tries.

Calum Turner – #1703

Castleford Tigers Academy product Turner has been with the club since 2022, making 54 starts, scoring 175 points.

Ronan Dixon – #1725

Ronan has made a big impact since his arrival from York Knights ahead of the 2023 campaign, featuring 42 times and scoring 8 tries.

Brad Graham – #1704

Graham joined the club after featuring in Super League for Castleford Tigers and has made 60 starts and scored 18 tries in his three season stint at the Rams.

Elliot Morris – #1715

Morris originally arrived at the Rams on loan from Halifax Panthers midway through the 2022 season, before making his move permanent in 2023. In his 47 appearances, his solitary Rams try came against Cornwall RLFC in 2023.

Travis Corion – #1736

Travis joined in the off-season from Doncaster RLFC, the winger has made 7 starts this year, scoring 3 tries including a brace against Toulouse Olympique.

Curtis Davies – #1737

Another Wales international and twin brother of ex-Ram Connor, Curtis joined from Newcastle Thunder ahead of this season and has made 22 appearances and scored 3 tries.

Marcus Walker – #1742

Joining the club ahead of this season from Newcastle Thunder, ex-Hull FC and Whitehaven player Walker has made 22 starts this term.

Bailey Dawson – #1740

Another who joined the club ahead of this season, Dawson has made 17 appearances this year, scoring his only try against Barrow Raiders.

Zeus Silk

After signing from Featherstone Rovers in August of this year, Zeus has made 8 appearances, scoring 1 try on his debut against Wakefield Trinity.

Reiss Butterworth will also be heading back to his parent club following the conclusion of his loan spell after Sunday’s game.

The club is still in discussions with several players for next year and we will begin to announce re-signings and new signings for 2025 shortly.
